VBS 2010 Wrap Up

During our High Seas Expedition VBS, the children explored the mighty love of God. It was a great week as the children learned about God’s Word.

Besides watching to see God in action in their lives, the children also prepared over 100 blankets that will be sent to children in Africa who are affected by AIDS and the results of extreme poverty. We were also able to raise over $500 for Rodger and Dixie Shewmaker, who are missionaries in the Philippines.

We averaged about 488 kids each day—it was our biggest VBS ever! We love watching VBS continue to grow and reach out with God’s love to even more kids and their families. Over 220 volunteers served during the week of VBS.

We are so thankful for all of them and for everything that they did! Their time and efforts help this ministry to continue growing. We’ll never be able to say thank you enough!!
