Preschool Choir — Sonshine Singers

• For 4 years olds (by September 1) through Kindergarten
• Begins Sunday September 12, 2010 at 5:00-6:15 p.m.
• Meet in the Preschool wing

Includes music, games and activities, Bible stories, snacks and fun. They will be singing songs for a worship service in the fall as well as preparing music to sing for the Christmas program in December. Practices are on Sunday nights beginning September 12. Register in the Children’s Welcome Center foyer across from the Jungle Room.

Children’s Choir — Solid Rock Kids

• Meet in the Jungle Room

This year’s Christmas program is inspired by the classic board game Clue®, The Present Is the Future is a fun and clever musical for Christmas. Follow six kids as they navigate a house of mysteries to find the answer to a Christmas riddle presented to them by a mysterious host.

Filled with outlandish characters, clever wordplays, campy satire, and fun songs, The Present Is the Future helps kids learn that their fears, desires, and insecurities are similar to those from Biblical times. They also begin to understand that by accepting the “present” of Jesus Christ they receive the gift of a hopeful future.
